Bhd. has marked a milestone by connecting Selangor with one of Chinas leading women-focused vocational institutions, Guangdong Womens Polytechnic (GDWP), through the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Selangor Technical Skills Development Centre (STDC).
The MoU, facilitated by APR, sets a framework for collaboration in live e-commerce training, digital entrepreneurship, vocational skills certification, and facultystudent exchanges, with the aim of positioning Selangor as a regional hub for digital trade and women innovation talent.
APR as the Bridge Between Malaysia and China
This collaboration was made possible through APRs initiative in bringing together STDC and GDWP, bridging Malaysia and China in the field of digital skills and vocational education.
APR will channel global expertise into Malaysia, while STDC will serve as the training base for nurturing local women talent. GDWP contributes its strong track record in womens education and industry partnerships.
Strengthening TVET and Women Empowerment
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Mohammad Nazri bin Noh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, STDC, and Dr. Harizal bin Hamid, Acting CEO of STDC, who reaffirmed Selangors commitment to advancing its TVET ecosystem through international collaboration.
The partnership will boost Malaysias capabilities in live e-commerce, cross-border trade, and digital entrepreneurship, creating opportunities for women and youth in the digital economy.
GDWPs Expertise
Founded in 1981, GDWP is the only public womens vocational college in South China, with more than 9,400 students across nearly 30 programs. The institution is a provincial model for vocational education and a pioneer in women-focused technical training and entrepreneurship.
APRs Track Record and Mission
APR Electronic Services is a technical repair training centre specializing in smartphone and laptop chip-level repair.
