Octavo Systems, a leader in SysteminPackage (SiP) solutions, today announced the availability of the OSD62xPM, an ultracompact 9×14mm SiP module based on the Texas Instruments AM62x (AM623/AM625) MPU. The OSD62xPM integrates the quad-core CortexA53 up to 1.4GHz plus CortexM4F AM62x processor, DDR4 memory, and needed passives into a single 500-ball BGA package.
Targeted at space-constrained, high-performance embedded marketsincluding industrial automation, IoT edge gateways, Human Machine Interfaces, and edge AIthe OSD62xPM delivers full AM62x capabilities in a 70% smaller footprint, while significantly reducing PCB complexity and development time.
